Arriving in FIA Formula 3 after winning the ADAC and Italian F4 titles in 2021, Oliver Bearman was a front runner from the outset.
The Scuderia Ferrari Academy driver took the chequered flag first on the road in his debut race, though lost the victory due to a time penalty yet it didn't take him long to make an impact in the Championship.
At the halfway stage, he had well and truly found his feet in F3, earning five podiums across four rounds, including a maiden victory in the Spa-Francorchamps Sprint Race to put himself in title contention.
Two P2 finishes at the final round in Monza left him third in the title battle, just seven points away from taking the crown at the first time of asking.
His efforts in F3 with PREMA Racing earned him an immediate promotion up to Formula 2 for 2023 with the Italian's F2 operation.
In 2024, Bearman made his F1 debut with Scuderia Ferrari, replacing Carlos Sainz after the Spaniard was ruled out of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix with appendicitis. He finished seventh to become Ferrari's youngest ever points scorer in F1.
Later in the year, the British driver was confirmed at the Haas F1 Team for 2025, graduating to full-time driver for the American team having signed a multi-year deal.
