F3 Media Passes are only allocated to written (print and/or online) and photo-based media outlets. Any requests for filming (digital or television) and/or radio/podcast requests will be escalated to Formula 1 Media Rights.
F2/F3 Media Accreditation will give access to the F2/F3 Paddock and Hospitality. Passes will NOT provide access to the F1 Media Centre, F1 Paddock or F2/F3 Pitlane/Grid/Parc Fermé.
Media Accreditation is granted at the sole discretion of FIA Formula 3 and can be revoked at any time. The Championships retain the right to deny any application without explanation.

Accreditation Principles
FIA Formula 3 acknowledges that media passes are a working tool reserved for genuine members of the media. Publishers, marketing personnel, copy sub-editors, secretarial staff, social media managers, influencers, family etc. cannot be accredited as media. For influencers interested in attending an event please get in contact directly.
Internal magazines, blogs, social media pages and newsletters are not classified as media and thus will not be approved for accreditation. Under no circumstances will advertising, public relations agencies or similar be accredited as media, nor will press officers, sponsors, suppliers, teams, family, fans.
FIA Formula 3 only provide one accreditation pass per publication.
Accreditation Criteria
F2 liaise closely with the National Press Offices and Sporting Authorities to confirm the validity of a given application.
Applicants will also be required to read and acknowledge the 2025 Media Access Protocols.
Accreditation will be prioritised to those who intend to publish reports on every F3 session from the weekend. Followed by those doing 1:1 driver interviews and general championship feature articles.
It is expected that each motorsport publication applying for accreditation are: a) On the Media Mailing List; b) Produce race reports from every F3 Race Event; c) Provide continued and on-going coverage of the sport as a whole throughout the season; d) Have a minimum circulation whose size and quality fulfil the FIA Formula 3 criteria; e) Intend to attend on-site each day of the Event they have applied accreditation for.
Coverage
For daily distribution publications, an acceptable amount of coverage would be at least one article a day. For weekly or monthly publications, several pages or a large spread concerning the Championships would be expected. Photographers must be able to demonstrate that a large portion of their pictures are used in editorial outlets that also meet the FIA Formula 3 criteria for Media Accreditation and all photos must be bought/sold at normal commercial rates. Freelance journalists are eligible to apply, however they must demonstrate that they will supply work to multiple publications, all of whom must meet the standards of accreditation.
Media passes can also be allocated to lifestyle, consumer business and general news publications who may not meet this criterion but whose coverage is seen to benefit the Championships, on a case-by-case basis.
Formula 3 value creative and unique work that cannot be found in other publications.
Quality
The highest standards of fairness and accuracy are expected as a minimum quality requirement. A significant number of headlines designed for inaccurate reporting will lead to a denial of accreditation.
The applicant must respect all external intellectual property rights of Commercial Rights Holder - Formula 1, FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 and third parties. This shall include the strict prohibition on displaying moving picture images, videos, sound recordings, use of trademarks, or logos.
There are a limited number of media accreditation passes and thus publications may be refused even if they meet all the criteria.
Accreditation Procedure
All publications wishing to obtain F3 Media Accreditation will be required to submit a Media Accreditation Application Form. For access to this online document please email: media@fiaformula3.com
Access to the 2025 Accreditation Application Form is not guaranteed and all publications will be initially vetted to ensure they meet the requirements above before digital access is granted. For the avoidance of doubt, access to the Media Accreditation Application Form does not mean the application will be approved.
Media Accreditation Application Forms must be submitted, in full, by a Editor/Manager/Chief of Staff etc. on behalf of the on-site applicant, prior to the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Letter of Endorsement
All LoE’s need to be written in English, on an official publication template, dated and signed by the Editor/Manager/Chief of Staff who submitted the application. LoE’s must include: a) Name of on-site applicant ; b) Previous coverage examples by the on-site correspondent for the publication (should this be in a language other than English, translations are requested); c) Evidence of circulation figures; d) Image of on-site applicant’s National Press Card; e) Coverage plan should the application be approved; f) Written confirmation that the accredited party will abide by all Accreditation Guidelines and Media Access Protocols; g) Confirmation that this is the one and only pending application for the on-site applicant and they have not applied to attend the Event in any other capacity (eg. TV reporter, Influencer, team guest etc.).

Accreditation decisions are made by the F2 Media & Communications team according to well established and recognised principles and procedures.
Upon submission of the Media Accreditation Application Form, FIA Formula 3 will send confirmation that the application was submitted.
All decisions will be communicated one week after the request deadline for the round in which the application is submitted. FIA Formula 3 reserve the right to deny applications without reason, justification will not be provided.
