James Wharton

BIOGRAPHY

After taking multiple titles in karts, James Wharton moved onto single seaters in 2022, finishing fifth in each of the UAE, Italian and ADAC Formula 4 Championships. In 2023, he won the UAE edition and improved to fourth in the Italian series. He also finished as runner-up in the Euro 4 Championship. In 2024, Wharton finished second in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, and also gained FIA F3 experience, racing twice for Hitech Pulse-Eight.

He made his full-time F3 debut with ART Grand Prix in 2025, achieving a first victory at the Spielberg Sprint Race before ending the season 18th in the Standings. Wharton is set to return for a second full campaign in F3 with PREMA Racing in 2026.
