A team that has threatened but not quite sustained their best patches of form, MP Motorsport are reloading for 2025 with a very exciting driver line-up aiming to launch their way back up the standings.

A sixth-place finish in the Teams’ Standings last year was a step back from the third-place they achieved in 2023, but six podiums and a race victory is a decent platform to build from going into this new campaign.

Tim Tramnitz, Bruno Del Pino and Alessandro Giusti will be the trio leading the Dutch squad this season, a promising driver line-up that looks more than capable of firing MP back up the pecking order.

2024 gave Tim Tramnitz a first taste of life in Formula 3 and he was able to make his mark in the early rounds. Three podiums in four rounds was a strong start for the Red Bull Junior Team driver, but a rough patch in the middle of the campaign ultimately hamstrung his bid for the Drivers’ title.

He rebounded in the closing races of the year with four consecutive top 10 finishes, including a maiden victory in the Monza Sprint Race. With a breakthrough moment now in the books, Tramnitz is looking to press on this year to make a serious bid for the Championship this time around.

Having started last season on the front foot, Tramnitz will be aiming to do so once again and if he can replicate that in 2025, he’ll be well placed to contend for the title throughout the year with MP.

Bruno del Pino has plenty of experience racing with MP already in his career. Two years of Eurocup-3 racing in orange brought consistent scoring results and his best season to date in 2024, along with Formula Regional European and Middle East Championship appearances for the team.

Three Eurocup-3 race victories, and five more podiums earned him a third-place finish in the standings ahead of his promotion to FIA F3, and he will now be aiming to carry that form on in a new Championship.

The introduction of a new car gives Del Pino and the rest of the 2025 rookies a better chance of hitting the ground running, but they will be looking to maximise pre-season testing to make an early impact in the opening races of the season.

Giusti is aiming to hit the ground running when he makes his F3 debut

Four seasons in single seaters have brought clear improvements year to year for Alessandro Giusti. After his debut campaign in French F4, he returned to the series and won the title in 2022 with five wins to his name. He moved up to FRECA in 2023 and finished sixth overall, before going better last year to wind up fourth overall, on the podium seven times with two wins.

Signed to the Williams Racing Driver Academy, Giusti has taken at least one win, fastest lap and multiple podiums in every season of single seater racing he’s competed in. Replicating that in F3 would be a huge statement and an ambitious but exciting goal to aim for.

After impressive showings in each of the previous Championships he’s competed in, Giusti looks set to tackle F3 with confidence and with the introduction of the new Dallara F3 car, all three MP drivers will be aiming high this season.

Following the slight step back in relative competitiveness versus rival teams in 2024, MP will have no shortage of motivation to recapture their best F3 form and fight for the top honours from start to finish this year.

A top three finish must be the goal to at least match their finest Formula 3 campaign to date, but the bigger prizes and titles could well be within reach with a promising line-up and a fresh start in this new era of the F3 Championship.
