Taito Kato has already passed one of his first tests in Formula 3 with flying colours, achieving a podium on debut with a third-place finish in the Melbourne Feature Race.
The ART Grand Prix driver’s next test it to take on our Would You Rather challenge, in which he reveals his racing hero, how excited he is for Monaco and his dislike for hamburgers.
“I’d prefer to be a singer.”
“I would say my home race. Japan is quite far from Europe so that would be quite nice and it would be an interesting race.”
“Indy 500. I have watched it a lot because Takuma Sato, he is my racing hero.”
“Win from pole, of course. I’d prefer to be dominant.”
“I would say street track. I drove at Macau last year and I was really, really happy with it as a street circuit, and I was fast as well. I hope I can go back again this year, but I'm also looking forward to driving in Monaco.”
“Yeah, in Japan there’s a lot of karaoke. When I go back for holidays, I go and do karaoke a lot with my friends, so I would prefer it.”
“It's difficult to say. But I would prefer to win the championship because you would need to have consistent results for sure.
"If I couldn't win races, then I will win the championship. It means I win the year.”
“Discover a new planet.”
“I would say if it's karting, wet conditions with dry tyres because it's really, really fun, you drift every corner, so I would say I prefer dry tyres with the wet.”
“Marathon. I prefer long distance.”
“Overdressed.”
“Future self.”
“I would rather whisper. I would prefer to talk silently.”
“Not sweet enough. I don't like sweets.”
“I’d prefer a zombie. The lion I cannot fight.”
“Wow. This one is a disaster, man. I guess hamburgers… maybe. But I don’t really like them either.”
