Following the conclusion of Saturday's FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race, Kanato Le has been disqualified while Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi has been handed a penalty.

Firstly, ART Grand Prix driver Kanato Le has been disqualified from the Sprint Race results.

A post-race report by the FIA Technical Delegate indicated that Car 12 had not met the minimum weight requirement set out in Article 4.1 of the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Technical Regulations.

After a review, it was determined that Car 12 was indeed 3.0kg below the minimum weight set out in the regulations, constituting a rules breach and, consequently, Car 12 has been excluded from the Sprint Race result.

It promotes every driver that finished behind Le up one place each in the classification, with Tuukka Taponen moving up to P6, as Bruno del Pino now takes the final point in 10th.

Secondly, Bhirombhakdi has been given a 10-second time penalty for weaving on the straights while defending from Car 27 of Yevan David.

After the session, the Stewards spoke to both drivers and their team representatives and also reviewed the video evidence.

They determined that Bhirombhakdi, while defending from David, had weaved six times on the straight between Turn 3 and Turn 4. The Stewards also found that he had not left enough racing room for Yevan David when returning to the racing line at Turn 4.

As a result, they elected to hand Bhirombhakdi a 10-second time penalty. This drops him from P25 to P27 in the final classification.
