P2 in the Teams’ Standings was a step back for TRIDENT in 2025, but the Italian team proved once more that it was one of the serious forces in the Championship.

That looks like being the case again in 2026, as the team prepares to tackle another campaign with both titles in their sights ahead of the real racing getting underway.

With Rafael Câmara’s Drivers’ title success proving they are still at the sharp end, the team will be hoping for similar scenes once again come the end of this year.

A hugely promising line-up

TRIDENT has quite the promising line-up on its hands for 2026. There is a combination of experience courtesy of Noah Stromsted, who goes into his second FIA F3 campaign, alongside newly-signed promise.

The arrivals of 2025 Formula Regional European Championship title rivals Freddie Slater and Matteo de Palo mean that the Italian outfit has huge potential on its hands as well.

Slater himself has previous F3 experience, as he impressed on debut back in Sakhir with AIX Racing, earning a podium in his very first race. He also got a second weekend later in the year, this time with Hitech TGR, but his success in the junior formula shows no signs of slowing down.

The Briton claimed the FREC title last season, continuing his streak of winning a title in every single season of his career dating back to 2022 and his racing car debut.

De Palo ran his 2026 teammate close last season, ending up finishing in P2, and his exploits earned him a spot as one of the latest recruits into the McLaren Driver Development Programme.

The 18-year-old’s 2025 campaign was his finest to date in his single-seater career, and in joining TRIDENT, he too looks well placed to continue on the upward trajectory he’s on currently.

Stromsted in his own right was able to find his footing last season, won his first F3 race at Spa-Francorchamps and finished just outside the top five in the Championship in his rookie season.

The Dane will carry all of the experiences he gained last year into this subsequent campaign, which will likely prove useful in bringing another step forward in performance.

Of course, P2 was a disappointment considering the team had led the pack entering the final round last season.

A hugely dramatic Monza Feature Race ultimately took the title away and into the hands of Campos Racing, but the goal for 2026 is clear: win back the crown.

TRIDENT have been a practically ever-present force in F3, and based on last year as well as post-season testing, they look well placed to carry their form into the new campaign.

If the team can match or better their five wins from 2025, it will be tough to stop them doing so.

They have taken at least one victory every season in FIA F3 dating back to and including the inaugural 2019 season.

Already TRIDENT achieved a record-setting third-consecutive Drivers’ title with Câmara, is there an unprecedented fourth on the cards?

With all three of their drivers having achieved recent success, it’s not out of the question all three could be victorious in 2026.
