After Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli secured their F3 Drivers’ Championships with TRIDENT in consecutive seasons, the Italian outfit will be aiming for a hattrick in 2025.
A brand-new line-up has been signed to lead their charge, with Charlie Wurz, Noah Stromsted and Rafael Câmara the trio hopeful of making more history in TRIDENT blue.
Two rookies join Wurz, who has a season’s worth of F3 experience now under his belt, but will they be able to fight for the ultimate prize once again this year?
The driver with the most experience in F3 is Charlie Wurz, who completed his first campaign in the Championship last year. He secured a best finish of fifth place, earned with a stellar drive in the Melbourne Feature Race in Round 2 of the season.
After that, the Austrian struggled to match those heights, ultimately ending up 22nd in the Drivers’ Standings. But with a year of data and lessons to rely upon, 2025 is shaping up to be a big one. Joining perennial F3 front runners in TRIDENT, Wurz is well-placed to kick on in year two and will only improve after a learning year last time out.
With the successful setup the experienced Milan-based team has curated, there’s no reason to believe that the ultra-competitive Wurz won’t gel well in new surroundings.

Noah Stromsted will compete in his first full F3 campaign this year, but the Dane did take part in FIA F3 races last year with Campos Racing. He finished both races across the Monza weekend as he began his adaptation to Formula 3 having finished the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in sixth overall.
Earning four podium finishes across the season and a further three top five finishes, Stromsted enjoyed one of his best seasons to date in his career. He will be looking to build on that momentum in 2025, and TRIDENT could well be the perfect place to do just that.
Stromsted also got his FRECA preparations underway early before his first full campaign in the series. It looked like an approach that worked well for him, as he was on the podium in Round 2 of the season in 2024 after two appearances in the tail-end of the previous season. While it might be a lofty expectation off the bat, it’s something he’ll be aiming to replicate this year.

Teammate Rafael Camara joins the team fresh from winning the title in FRECA last year, enjoying a career-year as he dominated from start to finish. The Brazilian driver was in irresistible form, taking seven race victories across the campaign and finishing well ahead of his closest rivals in the Standings.
It took eight races for Camara to miss out on a podium result, and he failed to score on just two occasions across the whole year. It’s a miraculous achievement he’ll do well to match in 2025, but he appears to be in the best form of his career arriving at TRIDENT and F3.
Camara will hope to emulate Bortoleto’s achievements with the Italian outfit as he aims to become the third consecutive F3 Drivers’ Champion to race for the team after his compatriot and Fornaroli. If he can hit the ground running in the early phase of the season, who knows what 2025 holds for the rookie.

The introduction of a brand new F3 car for the 2025 campaign opens up the possibilities for every single team as they aim to understand and maximise the new Dallara package as early as possible.
Pre-season testing will be crucial, but a team with the experience and success TRIDENT can boast should have relatively few problems getting to grips with the machinery. Can they add a Teams’ title to their recent Drivers’ successes and secure top honours for the first time since 2021? They will certainly hope that 2025 is their year.
