After a stellar rookie season in 2024, Callum Voisin is back for another year in FIA Formula 3, staying with Rodin Motorsport for the 2025 campaign.

With a new car, he and the team will have plenty of challenges to overcome. So why not throw another one his way, by getting him to answer some Would You Rather questions...

Would You Rather be a famous singer or famous actor?

“A famous actor. I feel like an actor is more recognisable. It's something that you see on your TV and on the screen. I think actors are just extremely talented, not that singers aren't, I am going to upset a lot of people, but I think a lot of people look up to movies, and that's pretty cool, so I'd pick an actor, but it's a pretty close one to be fair.”

Win your home race once or Monaco Grand Prix three times?

“Monaco Grand Prix three times. I want the three wins. It's one of my favourite tracks and it's a place that I used to live when I was very young. You could almost say it's a semi-home race. I am sorry to the British fans, the home race comes in a very close second.”

Wins from Pole or win from last on the grid?

“I've done a win from pole before, I've never done a win from last, but there is something about winning from pole, dominating the race, and just doing the job. Nothing beats it. If you go from last to first, surely you did a bad job, either in Qualifying or in the race before. I want the whole thing, ‘the full shebang’, the Grand Slam, they call it.”

Drive in a permanent circuit or a street track?

“Street track. I think there are a mix of street tracks that are high speed, and low speed, with the adrenaline of going between the walls, so I think street tracks. I think we've got a good choice. We've got Melbourne, which kind of counts, Jeddah, Monaco obviously, Miami could count, Vegas, Madrid is coming soon. There are other street tracks in the States. Macau, obviously. There are a few choices.”

Karaoke or dance off?

“Karaoke. I feel like I'd be terrible at dancing, so karaoke. I feel like I've got a smooth voice.“

Would You Rather be front row at fashion week or at the Oscars?

“I'd go Oscars.”

Would You Rather win the title with no wins or win many races but not win the title?

“Title with no wins, easy. Leonardo Fornaroli-style.”

Too hot or too cold?

“Too cold. There is nothing worse than sweating and being dehydrated. At least when you are cold you can move about, you can be active. I love my room freezing cold at night when I go to sleep. I mean not freezing, freezing, but I do like it cooler.”

Be an astronaut or a rockstar?

“I think an astronaut. It's probably a bit more dangerous, but considering I am racing driver maybe not. I think astronaut, pushing the limits, new technology, new adventures, although we haven't discovered much.”

Fly to space and discover a new planet, or go in a submarine and discover a new underwater kingdom?

“I think going to space would be cool, discovering new planets. As long as I can get back. I wouldn't want to stay out there.”

Câmara: ‘Hard work must continue’ after topping in-season testing with TRIDENT

Eat with a spoon or a fork for the rest of your life?

“Spoon because that means I can drink soup, but I could still pick up stuff almost like a fork. I feel like a spoon is more useful for all types of stuff. If you have a sauce that you really like, what are you going to do with a fork? You're stuck. You won't find a way, unless you drink it out of a bowl, but that's just not right, so a spoon is the way. Spoons would be pretty tricky on some things, but it's better than a fork.”

Communicate telepathically or know every single language on the planet?

“Know every single language. Fluently, I speak French and English, a little bit of Spanish, but not a lot, and that was because of my GSCEs. I got a 7, which is an A I think in old money. Being able to travel to any country in the world and knowing how to speak the language, fluently as well, that would be good.”

Drive with Wet tyres in the dry or dry tyres in the wet?

Train for a 100-metre Sprint or a Marathon?

“A marathon. I think the people who do that, the athletes that do that, for how fast they can run, for such a long time, they are super humans basically. It makes my Strava runs look pretty pitiful, but they are incredible.”

Be chronically under-dressed or overdressed?

“Overdressed. I feel like you can never be overdressed. I guess you can, but overdressed is definitely better.”
