Following his title-winning FIA Formula 3 campaign, Rafael Câmara has been awarded with the 2025 Aramco Best Rookie Award at the FIA Formula 2 and 3 Prize Giving Ceremony.

The Brazilian claimed the F3 title in his rookie campaign, earning a record-breaking five pole positions across the season, four race victories and one further podium result.

Speaking at the Prize Giving Ceremony, Câmara paid tribute to his team in 2025 and spoke about how competitive this season of F3 had been.

“It’s very nice to be recognised with this award. It’s very special. We had great people working together and it makes everything easier, but at the same time, we all know how difficult F3 and F2 are, they’re very high-level Championships.

“It was a great season, great people around me and it was nice to win the title and hopefully we can do another good one next year.”

He became TRIDENT’s third-consecutive Drivers’ Champion, following in the footsteps of compatriot Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli.

Like the aforementioned duo, he too will step up to FIA F2 with Invicta Racing, and everyone will be watching the highly talented Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy talent.
