TRIDENT rookie Noah Stromsted has been confirmed as one of the newest members of the Mercedes Junior Team Programme.
Stromsted is getting set to compete in his first full season in Formula 3, fresh off a Formula Regional European campaign in which he achieved six podiums and finished sixth in the Drivers’ Standings.
The 17-year-olds stepped up to single seater racing in 2021, with no prior karting experience, and went on to finish second in the Danish F4 Championship, helped by his nine wins.
He is now set to embark on a rookie campaign in F3, having already competed in the final round of the 2024 season in Monza, as a member of the Mercedes junior programme.
Speaking following the announcement, Stromsted said: “It feels really good to join the programme. My goal this season is to obviously learn a lot, but hopefully also fight for wins and potentially the Championship. There will be lots of new tracks for me to drive this year, so I will have to adapt quickly.”
The first of those new tracks for Stromsted will be in Round 1 in Melbourne where the season gets underway from March 14-16.
