The wait is almost over, and we are gearing up for FIA Formula 3 cars to return to the track for the first time in 2026.

Pre-season testing takes place around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, a venue familiar to everyone by now, and teams will be looking to make the most of the three-day event.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the test days, from where to follow all the action to keeping up to date with behind-the-scenes content and what comes next.

WHEN IS F3 TESTING?

The pre-season test takes place from February 10-12. All 10 teams will be in action as they begin preparations for the 2026 campaign and Round 1 in Melbourne which is set to take place from March 6-8.

The morning sessions begin at 09:00 local time on all three days, with the lunch break coming at 12:00. On days one and two, action resumes at 14:00 local and runs to 17:00 local time, while on the final day, the afternoon running begins at 13:00 local time and finishes up at 16:00.
