After 10 rounds and 20 races, the 2024 FIA Formula 3 season officially came to an end earlier this month at the end of year Prize Giving Ceremony as the paddock reconvened one final time before the winter.
The celebrations gave everyone the chance to reflect on a hard fought and entertaining campaign, but it mainly served as an opportunity to celebrate the Champions, their rivals, the records and the numerous highlights that had all of us at the edge of our seat this season.
There were several awards handed out, as Leonardo Fornaroli took home the Drivers’ Championship trophy while Rene Rosin was on hand to collect the Teams’ Title for PREMA Racing.
Fornaroli was also awarded a grant from Pirelli Motorsport Director, Mario Isola, that will help him progress to Formula 2, and also took home the Dallara Best Overtake Award for his move on Christian Mansell that earned him the title.
Arvid Lindblad was another big winner on the night, achieving the Aramco Best Rookie Award as well as the Mecachrome Outstanding Win Award for his victory at the Silverstone Feature Race that saw him complete the double that weekend.
Runner-up Gabriele Minì and third-placed Luke Browning also received their awards for their efforts in the Drivers’ Championship, as did Trident and ART Grand Prix for finishing second and third in the Teams’ title fight.
On the night, Formula 2 and Formula 3 CEO Bruno Michel, Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicalli as well as many others presented awards to our recipients, while we had a few special guests in the building such as World no.1 Men’s Singles tennis player Jannik Sinner.
