Nikola Tsolov has made a fine start to the 2025 season achieving several points finishes, including a Sprint Race victory in Sakhir.

The Campos Racing driver, and the rest of his rivals, will have many challenges to come this year across the next eight rounds. But before we get going again in Imola, we tested the Bulgarian with a few Would You Rather questions.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE A FAMOUS SINGER OR A FAMOUS ACTOR?

“That's a good one. I don't know. Probably... let's say… actor. I don't know, I wanted to be an actor at some point in my life when I was a little kid. Singing, my voice is not that great, so I can't sing but I am sure I can act.”

WIN YOUR HOME RACE ONCE OR MONCAO GRAND PRIX THREE TIMES?

“Home race. I can win the Monaco Grand Prix twice and still win the Championship.”

WIN THE INDY 500 OR THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS?

“24 Hours of Le Mans.”

WINS FROM POLE OR WIN FROM LAST ON THE GRID?

“Win from last on the grid would be a bit more exciting, but if you talk about domination and the Championship, winning from pole.”

DRIVE ON A PERMANENT CIRCUIT OR A STREE TRACK?

“I don't know, I like both. So, let's say we don't get enough of street tracks, at least not a lot, so maybe more street tracks.”

KARAOKE OR DANCE OFF?

“Karaoke. I find it funny, although I cannot sing, but it's good. They just asked me my favourite karaoke song actually, it's Iris from The Goo Goo Dolls.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE FRONT ROW AT FASHION WEEK OR AT THE OSCARS?

“Fashion show maybe. The Oscars is just seeing someone get an award, so I'll go watch a fashion show.”

WOULD YOU RATHER WIN THE TITLE WITH NO WINS OR WIN MANY RACES BUT NOT WIN THE TITLE?

“That's such an F3 question. It depends how much is many wins, you finish second, but with how many wins? I think at the end of the day, the most important thing is to win the Championship. So, I'll maybe say that just for your career in the future, it's better to have won the Championship, but I do like winning races.”

TOO HOT OR TOO COLD?

“Too hot.”

“That's such a jarring question. Fork probably, you can use it more.”

COMMUNICATE TELEPATHICALLY OR KNOW EVERY SINGLE LANGUAGE ON THE PLANET?

“Telepathic is like being mind-to-mind with everyone and reading people's minds? I think I'll still pick every language. I speak English, Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian, so I speak around four, but I can understand a few more, like Portuguese.

“Spanish - I had to study it. Italian, because I raced in Italy, English from watching YouTube videos. I was a gamer, so I watched a lot of YouTube videos.”

DRIVER WITH WET TYRES IN THE DRY OR DRY TYRES IN THE WET?

“Wet tyres in the dry. It's slow but it's even slower being on slicks on a wet track. It's going to be too slow.”

TRAIN FOR 100-METRE SPRINT OR A MARATHON?

Tsolov: “I'd probably do better in Marathon.”

Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak: “No way mate. 100 metres. 100 metres easy.”

Tsolov: “Training-wise, 100 metres is probably easier to prepare for. I don't like running 5km quick, I like running 10km slower.”

BE CRHONICALLY UNDER-DRESSED OR OVERDRESSED?

“Chronically is such a strong word so probably overdressed.”
