Would You Rather with Tim Tramnitz

Tim Tramnitz has made a fine start to the 2025 Formula 3 season and currently sits second in the Drivers' Championship after his podium in the Bahrain Feature Race.

Prior to the campaign starting though, we asked the MP Motorsport driver to take on our Would You Rather challenge, and he duly obliged.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE A FAMOUS SINGER OR FAMOUS ACTOR?

“I would be a famous actor. I think acting is actually quite cool.

WIN YOUR HOME RACE ONCE OR MONACO GRAND PRIX THREE TIMES?

“It depends. At the moment we don't have a Home grand prix, so I'd go for Monaco.”

WIN THE INDY 500 OR THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS?

“That's a very tough one. Indy 500. I think it's quite cool, I really like IndyCar.”

WINS FROM POLE OR WIN FROM LAST ON THE GRID?

“Win from last on the grid. It's probably the best feeling when you start last and then you win the race. If you win from pole, you were dominant but something could have happened in Quali. I feel like it's more difficult to win from last than from first.”

DRIVE IN A PERMANENT CIRCUIT OR A STREET TRACK?

“Street circuit. Jeddah is a very nice. It would be nice to drive there at some point.”

KARAOKE OR DANCE OFF?

“Karaoke. I can't sing at all but I feel like it's more fun than dancing. I would rather sing than dance.”

WOULD YOU RATHER BE FRONT ROW AT FASHION WEEK OR AT THE OSCARS?

“The Oscars, 100%. I feel like there are quite a few big personalities that I would like to meet.”

WOULD YOU RATHER WIN THE TITLE WITH NO WINS OR WIN MANY RACES BUT NOT WIN THE TITLE?

“It depends. I would take the title in the end, but if you win a lot of races, you also show what you are capable of, and it depends on what happened in between. Some unlucky things can happen but for sure I'd take the Championship.”

TOO HOT OR TOO COLD?

“In winter, I am complaining when it's too cold and in summer I am complaining when it's too hot. Probably too hot because when it's cold it kind of hurts. When it's hot, it's hot and annoying but when it's cold it hurts, its painful.”

BE AN ASTRONAUT OR A ROCKSTAR?

“I'd like to see the galaxies, so an astronaut.”

“I'd go to space. I think the water is interesting as well but I'd like to discover a new planet.”

EAT WITH A SPOON OR A FORK FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

“You can do more with a spoon, so I'd take a spoon, because you can also cut things with a spoon. You can also do that with a fork but I'd take a spoon.”

COMMUNICATE TELEPATHICALLY OR KNOW EVERY SINGLE LANGUAGE ON THE PLANET?

“I'd like to learn some languages. I speak German, English and a bit of French, and somethings in Dutch are quite easy for me as it's a bit similar to German.”

DRIVE WITH WET TYRES IN THE DRY OR DRY TYRES IN THE WET?

“Dry tyres in the wet. It's a bit more fun, sliding around, shows how good you can control the car so I'll take that.”

TRAIN FOR A 100-METRE SPRINT OR A MARATHON?

“I've never done sprinting, so I'd do that.”

BE CRHONICALLY UNDER-DRESSED OR OVERDRESSED?

“Under dressed I'd say. It's a bit less weird than being overdressed all the time, especially at the racetrack coming completing overdressed, I think it would a little weird.”
